This Privacy Policy explains how CuratorCX Pty Ltd ABN 91 700 138 227 trading as CuratorCX ("CuratorCX," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information in connection with the CuratorCX iOS application (the "App").

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following personal information:

  • Account information (such as name, email address, and password);
  • Uploaded Content (images, video, documents, captions, and other material you submit for analysis or curation);
  • Prompts, instructions, and feedback you provide to AI Features;
  • Device and usage information (device model, operating system version, app usage, and crash/diagnostic logs); and
  • Communications you send us (such as support requests).

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use personal information to provide and operate the App, including generating AI Outputs from your Uploaded Content and prompts, to maintain and troubleshoot the App, to provide support, to communicate with you about the App, and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse.

3. AI PROCESSING AND THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS

To generate AI Outputs, your Uploaded Content and prompts may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI model and cloud infrastructure providers, which may include providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Firebase. These providers process information under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to:

  • the third-party AI and infrastructure providers described in clause 3;
  • service providers who support our operations (such as support tools, analytics, or crash-reporting);
  • Apple, where required to operate the App or process App Store transactions; and
  • regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required by law.

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time via the App's account settings. Once your account is deleted, your personal information and Uploaded Content will be removed and cannot be recovered or restored, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention). Residual copies may temporarily persist in backup systems before being purged in the ordinary course of our backup cycle.

6. SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. APPLE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES

Where you download the App via the Apple App Store, Apple may separately collect certain information (such as purchase history) in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes (such as by email or in-app notification). Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
